Need to change the 4-digit PIN code on your Marantec keyless entry? Perhaps the buttons that you always use are getting worn out or you gave someone the PIN code but don't want them to have access to your garage anymore. Here are the steps you need to take to change the 4-digit PIN code on your Marantec M3-631 Wireless Keyless Enty:

*Note - you need to know the existing 4-digit PIN code to make these changes.

  1. Press and HOLD the "0" button on the keypad for about 3 seconds until you see the red LED on the keypad blink rapidly (release the "0" button when LED light starts blinking)
  2. Now enter the EXISTING 4-digit pin code and press & release the ENTER button
  3. Now enter a NEW 4-digit pin code and press & release the ENTER button. You should see the red LED on the keypad come on for about 2 seconds
  4. Congratulations - you have successfully changed the pin code on your M3-631 Marantec keyless entry. The old pin number is now no longer valid.

on my garage door the rollers keep falling off. So i was wondering how do i fix that so that they don't keep falling off?

Hi Cooper,

This post is a little strange to ask this question but I'm happy to answer it.
If the rollers are popping out of the track then most likely the track spacing is too far apart and the track should be moved in. You could also replace the standard 4.5" short stem rollers with longer 6" long stem rollers. This will allow more movement in the door without the rollers coming out.
Hope this helps. If not feel free to email us with you questions at store@garagedoorzone.com

How do I reset the code if I just bought a house and didn’t get the old PIN number?
Our realtor has sent their realtor a message about this, but they moved to California and we haven’t heard from them.

Follow the instructions for installing the keypad from the beginning like it's a new installation using the 3-prong programming connector. You can view/download the instructions here: https://support.garagedoorzone.com/m3-631-keyless-entry-instructions.html
