Raynor Mfg Discontinues A Few Models Of Garage Doors

Back in 2012 Raynor Manufacturing announced the discontinuation of a few of their garage door models. Fast forward to present day and those models are still in limited production. But by January 1, 2015 replacement sections will no longer be available. The following door models have been discontinued: Decade II, Classic, Charleston, Styleform Standard & Styleform Basic.

Since the 1980's the Decade II model door has been in production. It was one of the best "pan style" garage doors on the market. It was strong and durable garage door for those garages where an insulated door was not needed. Raynor now offers newer models for their "pan style" of garage doors - the TradeMark and BuildMark models.  Although they look similar to their older models they are not constructed the same. It's not to say that the newer models are bad they're just not as good as the old models. The newer models are in line with what you will find with other manufacturers though.

So if you have an old Decade II or Classic garage door and there's a section with a dent in it and you've been meaning to replace it you better get on it now. Replacement section sizes and colors are limited. And by January 1st you won't be able to get any sections. Contact your local Raynor dealer today.

In the meantime if you need a replacement part, bottom seal or remote you can find them at the Garage Door Zone store.
